Is it possible that the debate between Post- and Mid-Tribulation Rapture is irrelevant to those of us in the West? I have always held that the rapture of the Church will take place "to deliver us from the wrath to come," per 1 Thessalonians 1:10. How would WWIII and Ezekiel 39 play into this?
As I write this, the idiotic, demon-controlled leaders of the US, Europe and NATO are doing everything in their power to goad Russia into direct conflict with the West. Through their proxy war in Ukraine, which was provoked and designed by Victoria Nuland in 2014 at Maidan, they succeeded in inciting Russia to invade Ukraine to protect the ethnic Russian minority in the east. While this is not the narrative the satanic media promote, it is the truth.
The UK is now supplying depleted uranium shells for the tanks already delivered to the Ukrainians by NATO. In turn, Russia has placed nuclear armed missiles in Belarus. Tit for tat. This will not end well, unless somehow these psychopaths come to their senses. History does not prove them capable of rational thought, and the devils that control them are pure evil. We have never been closer to a nuclear conflict than today.
Which brings me back to Scripture. Is Russia the land of Gog? I contend it could also be Turkey, Syria, Armenia, or Ukraine, but many theologians have held consistently that Russia is the long-prophesied Magog of Ezekiel 39:
"Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:" - Ezekiel 39:1-2
While I am not 100% convinced this is Russia, let's assume it is for the sake of argument. Why Russia would want to invade the land of Israel at this moment is a puzzle. Their greatest threat is NATO and the US. What if, however, we found that the directives of NATO were coming from Tel Aviv? This is pure speculation, but if it were proven to be so, I can see, then, why Russia would invade Israel if threatened to the point of nuclear holocaust.
Continuing on in the Chapter, we read this:
"And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD." - Ezek. 39:6
Once again, the Bible is cryptic as to who "dwells carelessly in the isles," but given the state of our nation today, could that be the US? Ah! Then someone has finally found the United States in prophecy. All kidding aside, we have no idea when these events will take place, but let's pretend for a moment.
What if a scenario occurs where the Russians do discover that NATO's provocations have been directed by Israel? I could then see NATO launching a preemptive nuclear strike on Russia in retaliation for Russia invading the Levant, and Russian missiles would be launched to return fire. There would be a fire among the west and Magog, without question!
Or, perhaps our Moron in Chief misses his morning ice cream cone and throws a tantrum? The US demoniacs have already sabotaged the Nordstream Pipeline, though they are lying about it. I don't put anything past the stupidity and evil of the US Government. They decide to launch a nuclear attack claiming Russian evil for defending its borders in Belarus, and the flames are ignited; nuclear war.
At that point, what is left of nations like Russia, Turkey, Syria, or whomever might decide to invade Israel because Jerusalem could become the political center of the world, replacing Washington, Moscow, London, Frankfurt, which have all been incinerated. Either way, the West is on fire, and millions are now dead. Turkey, being a part of NATO, could be included in the nuclear exchange, and the remnants of their army invades Israel for land acquisition. NATO is gone.
We have no idea if either of these scenarios will play out; it is pure conjecture. Regardless of what happens, world events are clearly pointing to a bad outcome if we continue on this path. Is the rapture going to occur before the invasion of Gog, or after?
Given that God said, "I will send a fire on Magog," I would have to conclude that it is part of His wrath. In my opinion, this will be before the Time of Jacob's Trouble, or the Great Tribulation. I could be wrong, but I would, then, contend the Lord will take His saints out of this world prior to the fire reigning down. Fire is the defining characteristic of God's wrath in the end times.
If it turns out I am wrong, then WWIII could occur before the rapture, and it won't matter to us anyway. We will be dead in an instant. It is something to ponder and pray about, but I have no fear! The Lord knows them that are His. However we go out, we come back with Him in glory!
